Micro habits
A weekly check-in with body and mind.
Once a week, take a little time to notice how you are actually doing. These ideas help you stay curious about your body, your moods and your rhythms.

Ideas for the week
- Notice your breathing. At a red traffic light, or while waiting for someone, feel your breath. Where does it flow easily? Where do you feel tension? I find humming works well for easing it.
- Keep a relaxation journal. Write down moments when you felt relaxed, and moments when you felt stressed. Over time you may see what helps. A diffused blend such as Reprieve can make it a calming ritual.
- Notice your triggers. Understanding what sets off a reaction gives you room to respond differently. Some people like to pair this with a grounding scent such as Ground.
- Try strength training. Many people find it builds body awareness, confidence and a sense of resilience.
- Take screen-free time. Being present, without a device, is a gentle way to reset.
- Adjust your posture on purpose. When you feel tired or tense, change how you’re sitting or standing. Notice how your energy and confidence respond.
- Use your non-dominant hand. Brushing your teeth or opening the car door the other way round is a playful way to wake up your attention.
- Watch a sunrise and a sunset. Natural rhythms are a lovely reminder to slow down, and a few minutes outside at the start and end of the day can feel settling.
- Find where tension shows up in your week. Is it when you drive, talk, concentrate or shop? Noticing the pattern is the first step to easing it.
- Hum for one minute. A simple vibration practice that many people find calming. A Calm roller blend can add a familiar scent to the ritual.
Notice how these habits change your conversations, your choices and your routines. Feed your soul with the good stuff.
